The FRIDAY WRAP for July 13th, 2018

Hello and welcome again to the Friday Wrap...it's Friday the 13th. I’m Mayor Mickey. I just drove back from Omaha, Nebraska where I attended the Knights of Columbus Agent Sales Conference held across the street from where the NCAA Men’s College World Series is held.  Their financial services division provides advice and products exclusively to KofC members and they are one of my company’s largest and longest (21 years) clients.

We filmed the Friday Wrap at SCORE Sports Center; click on the icon or link to play the video:

Resignation of Dehn Grunsten from Plan Commission:
One of our longtime Planning Committee Members, Dehn Grunsten, is resigning due to her new position and family obligations. We will miss her kindness and  and her commitment to the Village of Burr Ridge, but look forward to her remaining on the Events Committee.  Dehn was first appointed an Alternate on July 12, 2010. She was appointed to Full Commissioner May 23, 2011 and she served as Vice Chairperson from July 8, 2013 to June 9, 2014. Thank you, Dehn, for your many years of service and dedication for eight (8) years!

Concerts on the Green:
Tonight’s entertainment, starting at 7pm, will be performed by Mason Rivers, “a high-energy country band that covers the best of today’s country music as well as your favorite classics.” Thank you HARVESTER PLACE for supporting tonight's concert series!!
